Manifesto

To accelerate our actions. To protect the nature around us. And to work together as if our futures depend on it – because they do.

On behalf of Maison Moët & Chandon, I am proud to introduce Natura Nostra, our biodiversity program in Champagne that is designed to answer the challenges of climate change. Though the program Natura Nostra is new, our Maison’s commitment to nature is not. Since 1743, from generation to generation, Moët & Chandon has been working to preserve our unique natural heritage: the nature of Champagne, the very source of our wines.

But our environment is being pushed to the brink, and our Maison must continue to evolve, guided by our thinking that remains “a quarter-hour ahead”. Today – and for the last 20 years – our challenge has been to pass down three centuries of heritage and savoir-faire while reinventing a more responsible luxury sector. We are continuing to innovate and adapt to produce exceptional champagnes while respecting and preserving the ecosystem that surrounds us.

[...] As the leading Maison, It is our responsibility to pave the way. But we are not alone. Based on our Maison’s nearly 300 years of experience, we know that collective action is the only path forward. [...]

Natura Nostra. Because it is our nature. Our futures. Our choices. And we choose to act – now.
