Moët & Chandon breaks a new record !
Today on Global Champagne Day, Moët & Chandon, in partnership with Vintage Cellars, broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest Champagne tasting at the iconic Sydney Opera House on their 44th birthday with over 700 people in attendance.
Moët & Chandon was the first champagne ever to be sprayed from a winner’s podium, and the first to be poured into an elegant champagne tower. It is synonymous with royal jubilees, coronations and celebrations. Moët & Chandon has been creating magical moments for over 270 years and now, as a first for the brand, Moët & Chandon holds the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest Champagne tasting event.
Breaking the previous record set by Sweden with 696 participants in 2015, Moët & Chandon, Vintage Cellars and the 715 guests joined internationally recognised authority on champagne, Tyson Stelzer and media personality Lisa Wilkinson at Sydney Opera House as they guided guests through a bespoke tasting of Moët & Chandon’s greatest champagnes - starting with Moët & Chandon Imperial, Rosé Imperial and Grand Vintage 2008. Guests were treated to a Mini Moët on arrival and canapés that were served to compliment the champagne.
