“Sharing the magic of champagne with the world” is a cherished Moët & Chandon value and the House will certainly be living up to its promise in high style with an unprecedented 270th anniversary event.  In partnership with the renowned Sotheby’s, the House is opening up its prestigious reserves to auction some of its rarest, most prized Grand Vintage champagnes.  A dazzling tribute to 270 years of success and glamour, 270 bottles from the Grand Vintage Collection will be released for the Nov. 13th auction at Sotheby’s London.

Spanning the 20th and 21st centuries, these unique wines have been finely aged in Moët & Chandon’s legendary cellars, the most extensive in Champagne, with 28 kilometres of underground tunnels benefitting from the ideal conditions for maturation.  Collectors from around the world will have the chance to acquire, among others, such historic, sought-after years as Grand Vintage 1914.

For Moët & Chandon, the event is much more than an extraordinary anniversary celebration and a golden opportunity for aficionados of the world’s most-loved champagne. In the words of Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez, “The auction with Sotheby’s represents our 270-year commitment to the Champagne region and affirms our heritage as a pioneering maker of champagne since 1743.”
