270 Years of Generosity

As the world’s leading champagne House, Moët & Chandon has the opportunity and the responsibility to set innovative standards of giving back to the community. The House’s commitment to philanthropy on a global scale is reflection of its values of generosity and celebration.

Moët & Chandon has pioneered rituals of giving that are admired around the world.  In “Toast for a Cause”, celebrities on the red carpet toast their favourite charities and Moët & Chandon honours each one with a donation to their cause.  In another ritual of generosity, A-list stars autograph large-format Moet & Chandon bottles to be auctioned for charity. The House also auctions its own treasures for worthy causes. At the star-studded amfAR Gala to raise funds for AIDS research held during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Moët & Chandon auctioned a rare Grand Vintage Collection 1911 for 150,000 Euros.

Moët & Chandon has been celebrating generosity for 270 years, (a celebration of sharing, of bringing people together with warm hospitality), a celebration of giving and giving back.
