120-YEAR-OLD MOËT CHAMPAGNE
AUCTIONED AT amfAR GALA

Among the highlights of the star-studded amfAR gala at this year’s Cannes Film Festival was the auction of a rare and coveted 120-year-old vintage champagne, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1893. The €50,000 proceeds from the sale of one of the world’s most precious wines were donated toamfAR for the organization’s AIDS research program.

 

Held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes on May 24th, the glittering red-carpet soiree brought together many of the biggest names in cinema. As the official champagne of the 20th annual amfAR Gala, Moët & Chandon hosted and toasted the likes of Sharon Stone, Jessica Chastain, Christoph Waltz, Adrian Brody, Milla Jovovich and numerous other world-renowned celebrities at an event widely seen as the Festival’s most exclusive event.
